Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for an ambitious student with an appetite for IT and computer management, who is able to join our IT team with immediate effect. The right candidate will support our colleagues with the daily operational needs related to our hardware software and will have the opportunity to work on their own tasks and projects.

Tasks
  • Manage the IT onboarding and offboarding of our employees, this includes creating accounts, assigning licences and setting up the IT hardware with Mac and Windows
  • Support our employees with the daily operational needs related to our hardware and software, being able to ensure a smooth, efficient and time-effective internal service
  • Issue reports and review the documentation of our current internal IT knowledge, processes and guidelines and report this in Confluence
  • Asset management such as updating inventory assets and assigning employee devices
  • Work closely with our IT Team, to gather more insights in regards to the latest technologies and SysAdmin practices


Requirements
  • Student of computer science or engineering
  • Strong interest in IT and computer management
  • Solid expertise in managing Mac OS X and Windows and standard software packages under these OS
  • Troubleshooting skills with Windows / Mac OS X and applications
  • Understanding of network technologies
  • Knowledge of G-Suite Apps - Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Meet
  • First hand experience with Jira / Wrike / any other ticket systems and Confluence / any other wiki systems are a big plus
  • Knowledge of modern video conference systems (Google Meet / Zoom / etc) and collaboration systems such as Slack / Microsoft Teams is a big plus
  • First hand experience in an IT environment is a big plus
  • Basic scripting skills at Windows (PowerShell) or MacOS X (zsh/bash/sh) are a plus
  • Understanding of cloud technologies is a plus
  • Fluent English skills is a must, any other languages are a plus
  • You are a proactive problem solver: you are capable of understanding the root issues and of quickly coming up with solutions that satisfy your stakeholders
  • You are capable of communicating clearly and effectively with a diverse audience
