The field of "graphic design" doesn't begin to describe what I do when I am working. But the drop down box didn't have a multimedia/mover shaker category. As an artist, educator, writer and technologist, I am on the ground floor of a movement.

At UC Berkeley I was fortunate enough to be a presenter/mentor several times for the Graduate School of Journalism's Media conferences. 20 of the most prestigious, mid-career journalists in the United States are invited to attend and learn about new technologies. I was also selected to teach classes on multimedia design as well as web design.

I didn't attend the Pratt Institute for very long, but was impressed that I not only got accepted, but received a partial scholarship to attend. I was accepted to a couple of prestigious art schools, but was unable to afford to graduate from any of them.
