Open Source Software & IT-Security Consultant
Stuttgart Area, Germany
Thanks to my company HIC AG i am able to work on different OpenSource Projects like the LDAP Workgroup BW or the Fedoraproject and i promoted Free&Open Source in several presentations and scripts. Primary, i work for the Fedoraproject to bring in or bring back Security Test Applications like dsniff or others. I work on Fedora as a platform for security testing and monitoring and as the Ambassador Membership Administrator and as FAmSCo ViceChairman. I am also a Technical Consultant in the Security Team of HIC AG.
My History
In the early 90's i joined the German Army for 12 years where i was NCO in a data processing unit in the first 4 years. I trained and worked in programming on Mainframe Computers and changed later to another unit and attended a UNIX based GIS System for display location and situation in battle scenarios. During the last 4 years i led the Information Management Department in the same Unit. During and after my time in the Army i worked as an instructor for an it-training-center.
