Kaj Hagros’s Summary
Earlier, as the Chief Operating Officer for Fox Mobile Distribution (FMD) and Fox Mobile Studios (FMS), units of Fox Mobile Group (FMG), wholly-owned by News Corporation, Kaj was responsible for service delivery, product development, technology and content operations reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
Kaj has 15 years of experience in the mobile industry with management positions in sales, marketing, and operations in both Europe and Asia-Pacific. He joined FMG from Airwide Solutions, where he served as Vice President Market Development. There he built new business through mobile advertising, allowing operators and service providers to create new revenue through targeted, personalized ads using all mobile content distribution channels. Prior to being acquired by Airwide, Kaj served six years in various leadership positions at First Hop, including General Manager APAC (Singapore), VP Operations (Finland), VP Marketing & Business Development (London), and was also appointed to lead the post-merger integration process between Airwide and First Hop. First Hop was a maker of service delivery platforms for over 60 mobile operators, such as Vodafone, T-Mobile, Telefónica, Bharti and AIS.
Kaj began his career at Nokia. He spent seven years with the company in R&D, direct operator sales in Scandinavia, and global system marketing. Kaj most recently served as the Head of Strategy and Business Development for Mobile Internet Applications.
Kaj has a degree in Industrial Management from the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland, and the Trium MBA from the London School of Economics and Political Science, the HEC School of Management and from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
